It was fate when Madison and Pablo met in the Spring of 2012. Pablo is from Chile and was studying in Argentina to be a doctor at the time. He visited Houston on a medical
missions trip as Madison was finishing her freshman year at the University of Houston. Madison says it was love at first sight!
For Madison’s 24th birthday, she went out to celebrate with her family and friends at Pandicheri, one of her favorite restaurants in the metro. Just before cutting into the cake, Madison’s dad began a toast to another year of happiness when Pablo interrupted him and pulled out a box of flashcards. He was studying for the US Medical Licensing Exam at the
time, so it wasn’t strange that he was carrying around a big box of flashcards. From that box, he pulled out a beautiful rose gold engagement ring and asked Madison to be his wife.
The couple said “I do” in November at a beautiful vintage themed wedding at Hodge Podge Lodge. With the help of planner Carolyn Mills, they decorated the venue in shades of blush and violet along with lots of foliage and eccentric trinkets. Their cake topper was even two cats made of yard doing the tango! The best part of the wedding day – their families were finally able to meet! How sweet!
