With sweet summertime just a few short months away, this summer sips design inspiration from Chancey Charm Weddings has us daydreaming of warmer weather! Captured at Waters Edge Venue, this bright and punchy scene is centered around a gorgeous outdoor bar featuring fun and fruity cocktails from Palace Party Beverage Co. Specifically, this shoot was influenced by one drink – the mojito! Shot by Smith House Weddings, we love the use of a bold color palette to emphasize the drink’s character as seen in the gorgeous floral arrangements created by F. Dellit Designs and eye-popping gowns from the Margaret Collection. Our bridesmaids’ looks were completed with flawless glam by BP Artistry. The vision translated to the tropical invitation suites from Dreams and Nostalgia, and fruity desserts from Becca Cakes. Read on for more on Skylar Caitlin’s vision behind this shoot, and don’t forget to pick up the latest issue of our Spring/Summer 2019 mag! Cheers my dears!

From the planner, Skylar Caitlin of Chancey Charm Weddings: “Perfect for a summer engagement party or for any couple who loves a good party, this concept focuses on highlighting the real reason your guests all showed up – that open bar! In all seriousness, I began with one drink – a mojito – to inspire the design for this modern, graphic wedding bar scene. Starting with the basics of the drink from a taste perspective, guests can sample a wide variety of delicious desserts all with a subtle mojito inspiration that correlates with the mojito recipe card favors so guests can continue the fun at home. Visually, that carries over into the use of citrus in the over-the-top florals and in the quirky neon signage. From a feel perspective, to me a mojito is what the cool blogger is sucking down by the beach in Cabo. What better way to kick off a spring or summer fête than with a cocktail-driven design that’s all about fun and celebration?”
