The LAST day of the year – can you believe it?! We’ve had so much fun in 2019 pouring over incredible Houston wedding scenes and couldn’t help but reflect on some of the best decor trends we’ve seen this year. We noticed a few common themes throughout local weddings and styled shoots that definitely deserve recognition. The Houston rental companies and wedding planners who bring these scenes to life are certainly some of the best in the biz! We hope to see these trends carry over into 2020, too! Happy New Years Eve!
Bar Carts (and Shelves!)
Cocktail hour kicks off the really fun part of every celebration and what better way to offer your guests a beverage than from the cutest bar you’ve ever seen? This year, we saw vintage carts and unique shelving arrangements displaying drinks in the sweetest of ways. Cheers!

Chairs: Dark + Different
We certainly loved all the unique seating we saw in 2019, which included lots of dark and dramatic chairs – definitely some showstoppers! Whether modern, boho, contemporary or traditional, we adore how these visually interesting chairs added contrast and dimension to the tablescapes.
Personalized Place Settings with Contrasting Textures
The little details matter, and in 2019 we noticed extra attention paid to the smallest settings. One common thread: personalized plates with layered, contrasting textures, like wood paired with delicate dishware, or natural woven linens paired with shimmering gold flatware. Such wonderful ideas for personalizing your tables and giving the ultimate welcome to each guest!
