To give a modern update to a bohemian vibe wedding, bright hues and geometric shapes are key ingredients as exemplified in this colorful vintage wedding styled shoot from En Vogue Events. Reserving splashes of color almost exclusively for the florals, Bramble & Bee created arrangements using eye-catching shades of red, indigo, coral and daffodil yellow to add cheery elements in everything from the table top arrangements and cake embellishments to adornments on the large hexagonal alter. The table was set with the bright blooms lining the center, and each place had serveware in whimsical mixed prints in shades of blue, yellow and gold from Something Goode Vintage Rentals. The stunning model bride wore a full boho-inspired look in a three-quarter flutter sleeve lace gown from Unbridaled and an elaborately braided soft up-do done by Sunkissed and Made Up. From the planner: “Nestled among the busy streets of Houston lies one of the city’s newest venues, The Space HTX. The white-on-white industrial warehouse was the perfect canvas for our eclectic and whimsical shoot. The Studio, an intimate upstairs area surrounded by natural light, was used for the ceremony portion of the shoot. The simplistic venue inspired us to create a ceremony back drop that would play off its clean lines. We built a large hexagon and softened it up with florals. The bride carried a loose bouquet in a mix of greenery and fall jewel tones and was accented by a ribbon. We thought her yellow diamond ring perfectly tied in the mustard color in the florals.
A vintage wooden table was surrounded by a mix of dining chairs and was topped with an earl grey runner, gold pillar candles, floral, gold chargers, intricately patterned plates, colored glassware and slate flatware. Then, the steel blue drip cake was also accented with floral.”
