This Wedding Vendor Had the Dreamiest Neutral Wedding of Her Own

Bride and oh-so-talented Brides of Houston vendor Emily Figurelli Photography tied the knot to her best friend Nicolas in a classy all-neutral wedding and we are obsessed with it! Designed in soft tones like champagne and blush, this palette was the perfect pair for a delicate outdoor affair. Combining textures like silk bridesmaids gowns, pampas and romantic floral design in place of a formal ceremony altar all work to make wedding scenes so dreamy and light. Though being a wedding vendor herself prepped Emily with plenty of dos and don’ts, she says there were still tons of obstacles that one bride simply shouldn’t have to deal with alone. However, through it all, she says she wouldn’t change a thing, and photographing so many couples over the years could never have prepared her for the role reversal.

“I ran downstairs as (our florist) opened his van and it all hit me right there that after being part of countless weddings, it was finally my turn.”

Now in their modern, neutral wedding so full of organic details, Emily looks absolutely radiant in an open-back Stella York trumpet gown from Brickhouse Bridal featuring a breathtaking lace bodice and long, sweeping train. Since she is Italian and Nicolas is Cuban, their first dance was a salsa as well as the mother-son dance. Emily says they truly didn’t leave the dance floor all night and their feet never left the floor. They finished out their magical neutral wedding evening with a confetti exit and finally headed off to their honeymoon in Mexico! With the videography magic of FR Weddings, their day is captured on film forever for them to relive again and again, so check it out down below – plus, read on for a note from the bride about one of her favorite wedding day memories that occurred when she was getting helped into her dress. Cheers to the Carvajals!

From the bride on her favorite wedding memory: “My best friend and business partner, Jordan, helped me into my dress and shoes. I knew it would be so special to me having her step into that role, but when the photographer and videographers asked us to turn and look at each other, we burst into tears and then started laughing at each other.”
